This is a period of 200 miles or 300 KM. WebMostly true for the engine but break in is mainly for the belt drive system and gears. Belts need a minimum of 20 miles of easy varied throttle before beating on them, gears take a good 200 miles to "wear in" the contact patches before applying a heavy load.
