WebFeb 25, 2024 · I added eval "$(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)" to .zprofile by copy/pasting the command suggested by the brew install, and the line did indeed show up in the file, but I still got zsh: command not found: brew. When I added the same line to zshrc (which formerly didn't exist), zsh was able to find the command.
